Rawa Island (Mersing, Johor)_ Room review

I just came back from Penang today.. actually should be home yesterday.. but seems there was some unfinished business among the families.. We extended another night..

I miss my home.. ^_^.. Feel good to be back at home...

I wanted to continue my Rawa Island trip here.. This trip was few weeks ago.. and I am having a great time here.. well 2 nights is ok.. going for 3 night means stranded for me.. ;-p

We stayed at the garden view room.. which cost us around RM700++... My in laws having the sea view room.. cost RM900++... Per night... and we stayed 2 nights..

Entering our room.. 1st thing I spotted.. ;-p.. But so far there were no electricity cut off during our stay.. Morning and night No problem..

The only problem that we faced was tap water supply.. We do have water but, it's like been limited to certain amount for every used.

So use your water wisely.. the water will 'uploaded', no worries.. just have to wait about 5-10minutes (??).. (Habis lah if time pakai shampoo... ;-p)

I am not that comfortable with the bed sheet.. It's like damp and sticky.. you might need to bring your own cover if you quite choosy.. I am not that choosy.. but my skin very itch when sleeping on it.. -_-




No TV... No telephone line.. (My in laws room got TV.. )

With this view.. Kweng.. kweng.. kweng... But it's ok.. we never hang around here anyway... ^_^

It was about 10am that moment.. we took a nap and rest for a while before lunch.. (Oh yes.. Breakfast.. Lunch.. dinner.. provided.. buffet style )

Short update from Penang..

Sharing 1 photo of my Rawa Island trip (Perak) before continues all.. ^_^

I am still in Holiday Inn Hotel at Batu Feringgi, Penang at the moment.. Going to check out soon... 1st time bringing my lappy together with me during tour.. ;-p.

Having great time.. well a little bit down moment too.. well not all trip will always go smooth all the time.. but it's all ok.. I will focus on my own main purpose.. ^_^ (You might confuse with this line.. but it's just a personal statement of mine.. ;-p).

5 hours drive to....

Perak trip was over.. and this time, travel further to Johor (Updated: Not on the same days of coz.. This was a week after Perak trip ^_^).. at Mersing.. 5 hours drive..

We started our journey around 4am.. -_-




Reached Mersing around 9am.. Hubby confirmed our booking (Which booked online)..




This round trip to Rawa Island, Mersing Johor.. or they called it Rawa Safaris.. and this was the office..




Waiting for the boat to make a move.. around 9.30am.. managed to have breakfast.. ^_^




It's time to make a move.. have to go thru small bridge to the jetty..




A lil bit chaos here.. We need to pass thru this blue boat in order to go to our boat..

Inside our boat.. I belum sampai Island sudah Tan... belum lagi stay in the island.. alaaa.. yang penting having fun.. ^_^.. (Gelap pun gelap lah... ;-p)

Thank God.. weather was good.. water was calm.. and the ride was fine.. not scary at all.. ^_^

After 30minutes.. we reached.. (Hubby lie to me.. said only take 15minutes... ishh... tipu.. but at least the ride was ok.. so I am fine.. ^_^)

Dredge Visit.. (o.O) _Perak

This will be my last post for my Ipoh Perak trip.. ^_^..

I actually tot that we are heading home already after Kellie's Castle.. But hubby select 1 location on the GPS place of interest list...



He himself don't know what was that.. but the name looks interesting.. '...Heritage'.. Me ikut saja... sudah nama dia 1 kereta kan... -_-

Once we reached.. Nah kau... what we get here... Lombong Tin (???)




Seems we already here.. Just go for it.. kena bayar lagi tu... RM5... -_-

This dredge was no longer operating.. so they let people come and visit..








We have to go without any guide.. -_-.. Ni yang gayat ni.. have to cross this little bridge..




Siap pakai heels... ~.@ .. Hubby and son siap goyang2 the bridge... urghhhh... ada yang kena flying kick ni...




When I was here.. 1 thing in my mind... 'Ohh.. This is how they work.. Must be difficult..'

Well at least I have new knowledge today.. about a dredge.. ow man.. I even step inside (With heels ;-p)!! LOL..




Half of the dredge was filled with water..




We did not explore too deep inside.. Might be dangerous for our little one.. or may be us..








This will be the things to carry out all the 'tins dust'..

Lastly.. The great grand son of the Castle ex-owner... He visited the castle on 2007..
