Ok lah.. learning something today with my new camera.. ;-p (Did not touch my camera this few days.. ^_^)

I wanted to take the view outside the window.. But it was too bright outside.. I am using the Auto and it cannot capture the outside view at all.. Only lights pouring in..
So.. I am using (M) Manual.. ^_^ and have to do setting on the (ISO) and the (Aperture)..
- Setting on (ISO) I have to put it lower.. (I learned, we will only need a higher number on the ISO when in a low light situation) So.. In this situation the light was too much outside so I set my ISO lower.. may be around ISO200.. 400?
- Next the Aperture (F value) It's the size of opening lens when taking photo.. It's like a window.. I put it lower.. Means.. only open a lil bit of the lens window.. not allowing too much light go through my lens.. (It's too bright remember ^_^). Note : I said lower (F value) but the number setting is higher. The higher number increase means the lower it is.. confuse kan? ;-p)

My result.. I got clear Vision outside..

Here goes.. ^_^..
I did not have time to attend class but search from the net some info's.. I got a hard time to understand.. But I think I get it.. ;-p

Now doing some testing to focus object from distance.. I need to press my (Focus) button and choose (Spot) to focus the object I want.. Otherwise the camera will kept on focusing the front object (The grill) instead..
On Previous photo.. it does give a clear view outside, but inside dark.. how if we want it to be clear outside and inside????

On FLASH lorrrrrrrrr........... *Wink*

I learn something new also.. how to have less blur image on moving object.. I have to increase the (Shutter Speed) high.. So I will have a 'still' image.. Sample on photo above.. my boy was running.. and I capture a 'still' image of him.
This is my future ref only.. Not meant to give pro advice to other user.. LOL.. Any comment and advice are welcome.. ^_^
Ok.. need to go down to my garden for some practice.. ;-p

Ayoooo Joel masih pakai susu botol? Ampunnnn. Tukar sipi cup lah Joel besar sudah.
Nice write up! Usually, I rely on AUTO settings whenever I take pictures...including indoor location :) Lazy to play with the buttons.
I'll definitely try out your settings.
Cheers!
